NYSCI is very excited to launch the My Carbon Footprint initiative. With support from Deutsche Bank Climate Change Advisors (DBCCA), the New York Hall of Science created  My Carbon Footprint to build awareness about climate change science among New York City’s schoolteachers and students. Inspired by DBCCA’s Carbon Counter in New York City, the world’s first real-time carbon counter that displays greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, the curriculum for My Carbon Footprint is geared towards middle school students.

We have developed this site to be a teacher driven site where you can find supplemental resources on the topic of climate change and share your experiences with other educators who are teaching My Carbon Footprint lesson plans in their classrooms. We are extremely excited to hear all your in-class stories about implementing the My Carbon Footprint curriculum!!!
